Ok I’m not a bunny, I don’t have sleep apnea & I’m not an overweight person….But if you think I’m Loud when I’m awake….you should hear me when I sleep…..I sound like a bear.
But my better half in another room at night is the bear the next day.
I tried nose strips, ouch… (Plus after a couple uses, the red mark on the bridge of my nose).
Drops, sprays…dream on. They don’t work.
Most stop snoring aids, devices & gadgets, are used to adjust & hold the snores jaw, nostrils or mouth in an unnatural way.
Plus when you have to shift, adjust or hold teeth, from the natural bite…teeth move. I know, because, I had braces. Plus now I have a bridge, so I have taken extra care in the dental aspect of this snoring device.
As a snorer, I sat & read so many different ideas, jaw sifted forward with devices in your mouth, that I could just push out during sleep or the ones that might hold it in, make you look like an alien creature. Then there’s the jaw closed with a cloth contraption, you can’t even talk & leaves marks on your face in the morning.
Then I remembered about 30 years ago, on a late night news program. There was this Doctor who did a simple surgery for snoring. Inserting an arch in the back of the throat to keep the airway open, where some muscles have weakened or expanded over many years. Causing a constriction of airflow, which make the sound many of us call SNORING….Well I didn’t exactly run out & want to have surgery, the co$t, pain & the doubt, if would work for me at all.
There must be a snoring device like that. To the internet I go. To search for something that would help me stop snoring..
There was nothing for the inside, back where snoring starts.
Something that can help support the sagging muscles, in the back arch, where the uvula hangs . Plus also help an ascending tounge. Both block the airway. , while we sleep. Hence causing the friction & that annoying sound, AKA.....
So through some trails & a few adjustments & a couple years.
I have been using my
